Emotional Intelligence
Did you know…
You developed your emotional intelligence (EI) skills from your family of origin.
Unfortunately, most people aren't masterful at this essential life skill and unbeknownst to them, they pass down a legacy of unregulated and/or suppressed emotions - it’s an ongoing, damaging cycle. Ultimately, mismanaged emotions create some level of internal pain and suffering thus preventing healthy family connection. The good news is your family isn’t trapped in legacy - with commitment, we can enhance our EI skills.
Your ability to thoughtfully use emotion is imperative to creating strong family connection.
On a personal level your charm, personality, kindness, and wit might help you find a great partner and you may be perceived as a great parent and friend. Professional speaking, your IQ, credentials, personality, and experience will get you in the door, and maybe even help you land some promotions. However, without high EI your personal & professional success is limited and may even be in jeopardy. Without this essential skill it’s difficult, if not impossible, to develop and/or maintain quality relationships.
Struggling with EI may be the cause of difficult consequences and heart-breaking outcomes.
The inability to successfully address fear, anxiety, negative self-talk, frustration, etc. put you and your relationships at risk. The inability to set adequate boundaries, show appropriate responses in tough situations, and fighting vs. discussing each take a toll on you and your relationships.
Creating a life you love with beautiful family connection is within your reach.
With committed effort to developing your EI you will change the trajectory of your life and that of future generations.
